Add your first site
Add a site in four steps: the address, the Verploy Connector, the connection check and your update policy.
Adding a site takes a few minutes. You need the site’s address and access to its WordPress admin, to install the Verploy Connector. Client name, report language and client email can be filled in later.
The four steps
- Address. In Verploy, choose Add site and enter the address as visitors use it, for example https://www.client.com. A name is optional.
- Install the Verploy Connector. Download the connector from Verploy, upload it in WordPress under Plugins, activate it and pair it with the one-time pairing code that Verploy shows.
- Connection check. Verploy checks whether it can work on this hosting. See the connection check.
- Update policy. Confirm how this site is updated. A new site only joins automatic updates after you confirm it.
If the address does not match
If WordPress reports from another address than the one you entered, for example with or without www, the pairing screen shows it and lets you adjust the address with one click. If nothing comes in after three minutes, the screen shows what to check.
Adding the same domain again resumes the existing site instead of creating a second one.
