What happens if an update fails?
If an update breaks something on the test copy, it never reaches your live site. You get a notification with a plain-language explanation of what went wrong and which plugin caused it. If a problem only appears after going live, Verploy restores the files and database from the snapshot it took just before, automatically.
Do you test updates on my live site?
No. Updates are tested on a private copy of your site first. Your live site is only updated after the tests pass, and it is checked again right after.
Does Verploy work with any hosting?
Verploy works through a lightweight connector plugin, so it doesn’t need SSH or special hosting features. The test copy is built on your own server in small steps, which also works on shared hosting with short time limits. Your server needs enough free disk space for a temporary copy of the site.
Do I need to share WordPress login details?
No. You install the Verploy Connector plugin and connect it with a one-time pairing code from your dashboard. Verploy never asks for WordPress passwords, and every request between Verploy and your site is signed.
What about premium plugins and themes?
Premium plugins often only offer updates on the licensed domain. Verploy downloads the update through your live site, using your existing license, and tests exactly that package on the copy. If WordPress doesn’t offer an update at all, for example because a license isn’t active, Verploy tells you so instead of silently skipping it.
Can Verploy manage WooCommerce sites?
Yes. During go-live the site is briefly in maintenance mode (a few minutes), so a rollback can never erase new orders. Dedicated cart and checkout tests are coming soon.
What happens to my data?
Verploy stores the technical data it needs to maintain your sites: versions, health data and test results, with screenshots in private storage. Visitor data and site content are never sent to the AI diagnosis, only error messages, failed checks and version information. Read how Verploy handles your sites and data, or see our privacy policy.
Can I change my plan?
Yes. Plans are monthly and can be cancelled any month. You can add or remove sites at any time — extra sites are €3 each per month, and we always pick the cheapest mix of plan and extra sites for you. If you have the founding or waitlist discount, it stays with you through every upgrade, downgrade, cancellation and return.

When can I start using Verploy?
A small group of founding agencies gets access first, so we can iron out any issues on real client sites. Everyone on the waitlist gets access when we open Verploy up more widely. Joining the waitlist reserves your place and your discount — it doesn’t give immediate access or start a subscription.
Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
No. The 14-day trial is free and needs no credit card. If you don’t subscribe afterwards, your account becomes read-only: monitoring continues and no data is lost.
