Choose how updates are made
Ask first, update automatically, or never automatically: how the update policy and the smart update rules work.
You decide how much Verploy does on its own. Out of the box, Verploy asks before it updates.
The options
- Ask first (default): Verploy prepares and checks, and you approve.
- Automatic: Verploy updates on its own, at a quiet moment, through the safe route.
- Never automatic: for sites that need extra care, set per site.
Smart update rules
Under Settings you can narrow automatic updates further: only fix vulnerabilities automatically, wait a few days after a new version is released, or only update once a version has gone live without problems on other sites.
Every update, either way
Every update is checked, and the risky ones (themes, page builders, shops and major versions) are tested on a copy first. Updating one plugin on all sites goes in waves: one site, then two, then the rest.
