Clients rarely log in to anything to check on their website, and they should not have to. But every now and then they want to know: is the site up to date, are there backups, is anything wrong? Since version 2.41, you can give each client a private link that answers exactly that, without a login and without a phone call.

What the client sees

  • The current status of their own site, and nothing of your other clients.
  • The reports you send them, in your agency’s branding.
  • A button to ask you a question, so the conversation stays with you.

The portal is read-only. Clients can look, but they cannot change settings, start updates or see anything outside their own site.

Private by design

Each link is unique to one client and one site. We only store a fingerprint of the link, so the link itself cannot be read back from our database. You find and share it from the site page in Verploy.

Why we built it

In our own agency, the most common client question is not about a problem. It is “is everything all right?” The monthly white-label report answers it once a month; the portal answers it any day of the month. Both show the same thing: maintenance that happens, even when nothing goes wrong.
