Backups

Nightly WordPress backups you can actually restore.

Every client site backed up every night, encrypted on the site and stored in the EU. Restore one site in one step, test a restore without touching the live site, or download a backup as a single file.

No credit card. Every update is checked, and the risky ones are tested on a copy first.

The problem

A backup is only as good as its restore

Most agencies have backups. Far fewer know whether those backups can be restored, how long it takes, or whether there is enough space on the hosting to do it. You find out on the worst possible day.

Verploy backs up every site through the connector, without access to the hosting account, and lets you prove that a backup restores before you need it.

What’s included

Backups that are part of the maintenance, not an add-on

Every night, encrypted

The first backup is complete; after that only what changed, plus the database each time. Backups are encrypted on the site before they leave it and stored in the EU for 30 days.

Restore per site

Only that website is restored: prepared next to the live site, switched in one step, then checked. If the site does not work afterwards, Verploy puts the previous state back.

Restore test

Restore the latest backup next to the live site, count whether every file and database row came back, and remove the copy again. Nothing goes live.

Download or keep longer

Download any backup as one file with all files and the database. Keep up to three backups per site for a year, for example before a big rebuild.

Before every update

Plus a snapshot before every go-live

  • A snapshot of files and database right before an update goes live
  • Automatic rollback from that snapshot if the update breaks something
  • A free-space check before a restore starts
  • Backup status per site: ok, outdated, failed or running

Questions
